Susanna has exclusively and actively been involved with TICA since 1984 when she began showing and breeding Siamese & Orientals under the cattery name of “Purrsia” ...  

In 2002 she founded and was President of “Cats And The City” a TICA cat club located in Vancouver British Columbia. In 2007 she moved to Las Vegas, NV and the following year started “Cats And Sin City”. Also in 2007 she began working with a minority breed known as "Peterbald".

Susanna is a licensed TICA Judge,  Ring Clerk, Master Clerk and Entry Clerk. She currently serves as TICA Peterbald Breed Chair. Susanna and her husband Steven, realized a personal highlight showing IW SGG Purrsia Mathilda who surpassed all of their goals to become TICA’s first International winning Peterbald in the 2013/14 season following that up with 6 International winning Peterbalds of their breeding the following six consecutive years.    This past season,  they reached an all time high of having bred and shown,    IW SGC Purrsia Pardonne Moi "Beatrice" who ended the season tied for the spot of TICA Cat of the Year! 
 

In her personal life, Susanna was born in Germany and moved to Calgary, Alberta as a young girl. After college she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where she owned a successful employment agency in Burnaby & New Westminster, British Columbia before retiring in 2006 and making the move to the US. Susanna has written several articles for magazines about various breeds while continuing to promote a minority breed. She believes in educating and mentoring new breeders.
